PB&J Pinwheels Kid's Lunchbox!

So... You may have noticed the sudden and severe drop in the frequency of my posts. But it's not my fault, you see. I've been terribly busy. As you may
recall, my family is a homeschool family. I teach my two youngest siblings (Luke- 10 and Grace-8) four subjects: History, Latin, English Grammar, and this year's new subject: Art! Color theory to, be exact. And it occurred to me the other day... I'm so busy teaching this wonderful art class that I don't have time to post. Buy why don't I post about what we do in art class? Obviously a cute idea, artwork by 8 and 10 year-olds is always adorable.
So I'm starting a series on my Instagram You'll know it when you see #abbysartclass. It will link to all our art projects!

This is kind of an art project. Sandwich art. No, but these adorable pinwheels are sure to make your kid's lunch stand out and make him smile! They're more fun to eat... Even for adults. I ate these for my lunch today. They're bite-sized and perfect with a big glass of milk.

Even though we homeschool, there are still PLENTY of times when a packed lunch is needed. Road trips, picnics, and such. And kids always appreciate a little effort put into their lunches.

What you will need:

Two slices of bread
Peanut Butter
Jelly

(In case you didn't already know the ingredients for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...)

What you will do:
Place the two slices of bread on a flat, clean surface. Roll them out flat with a rolling pin.
Place a thin layer of peanut butter on one side and jelly on the the other (Pretty straightforward...)
Assemble sandwich, then roll it up into a log. Carefully slice into bite-sized pieces. Place in a Tupperware with a lid or eat them yourself and make your kid a new one.
Enjoy!
