Raspberry Crumble Bars

The weather is just starting to warm up. Thank the good Lord. It makes you really hungry for something summery, yet you don't want to spend
a lot of time inside the shade prison (House) making it. So here's how I solved the dilemma. Super easy, SUPER delicious....

                                                           Raspberry Crumble Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 yellow Betty Crocker cake mix
  • 1/4 a Cup Butter (Half a stick, softened)
  • 1/4 a Cup + Water (Cold)
  • 1 Can Raspberry Pie Filling

Directions:

  •   Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  •   In a mixing bowl use your hands to mix the butter into the cake mix until butter is in many small chunks. Add water and mix together. If very crumbly, add more water until it will clump together in your fist. Set aside 1/2 a Cup.
  •   Grease a 9 by 13 casserole dish and press mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  •   Pour the pie filling over crust and spread with a spatula, reaching all the edges.
  • Use the 1/2 Cup of cake mix you set aside and crumble it over the top.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden ground (Hahaha, I meant golden brown). Refrigerate and serve at your earliest convenience, or your latest convenience. It's good either way. Enjoy!

I only got two pictures of this because they got eaten so fast. So... sorry about that.
