These beautiful headbands are everywhere this spring! They're the new trend and boy, are they cute. I had to buy one. But it cost like 15 buckeroons. That is not cool. So today I will be showing you how to make your own!
What you will need:
- Colored fabric squares (Walmart, 79 cents!)
- Garden wire (At crafts stores in the garden/flower section they come in a pack. Trimmed wire coated with green thread)
- Fabric Adhesive
- Hot Glue Gun
Bend two wires in half and chain them together
Bend the third wire in half and chain to the other two. Slip one end of the wire to chain the three into a circle and twist it like so to complete the chain
Fold over fabric 4 times and cut little hour glass figures out.
Paint a glob of fabric glue into the center of each hour glass to layer them like so
You can even layer multiple colors if you like that.
Allow time to dry and then put a big glob of glue in the center, pinch together to make a rose
After they dry, cut out leaf shapes and glue them to either side of the flowers
Ain't they pertty?
After they dry heat up your hot glue gun and glue them pretty babies to the garden wire headband
Ah! What a masterpiece!
So cute. So pretty.
Beauteous.
So cute! And that model is beautiful!
