You can't go wrong with Oreos. Anything that relates to Oreos at all is sublime. So what in the world makes this the BEST Mint Oreo Milkshake you will every have? Well, the secret is....
Cool whip in the ice cream. And it doesn't hurt to use Smucker's Magic Shell Chocolate Mint Cookie Crunch syrup either.
This syrup freezes over in seconds after touching the ice cream and creates a layer of crunchy chocolate. It's divine. Shall I show you how this works?
What you will need:
- 1 Carton of Eddy's Slow Churned Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
- 1 pack of Mint Oreos (Lightly crushed)
- 1 Tub Cool Whip (I mean like the tub it comes in. Not like a bathtub full of Cool Whip. Although that would also be acceptable...)
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Mint Extract
- If you want it more green: 1/4 Teaspoon Green Food Coloring
- SMUCKER'S Magic Shell Chocolate Mint Cookie Crunch syrup (For Layering)
- Ready Whip (For layering + topping)
- Maraschino Cherries
- Dump that ice cream into your stand mixer. Add milk. Mix her up.
- Crush Oreos and toss them in, mix her again.
- Fold in Cool Whip, mint extract, and food coloring.
- Freeze 10 minutes
- Layer ice cream, chocolate syrup (Shake super well and do not refrigerate!), and Cool Whip. Top with a Cherry
- Devour
