Pizza Bombs

These Pizza Bombs are aptly named. They explode in your mouth. Gooey, cheesy, pizza-y perfection.
My sister (Yammie) and her husband, Samuel, are home from Germany to visit. Samuel ate four of these pizza bombs. And he is known around here as the Bread King, so they must be pretty darn good.

Seriously, every time I look at him he's holding a new loaf of bread. He's like Peta.

These mozzarella, pepperoni stuffed, garlic bread rolls are the most satisfying, enchantingly gooey rolls you shall ever set eyes or lay teeth upon.

These are so good I accidentally ate three...

But I mean, come on, look at that stretchy cheese? Can you blame me?

And now what you've all been waiting for....

Pizza Bombs

What you will need:
1 1/2 Cup milk
2 Scant Tablespoons of Active Dry Yeast
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Sugar
Teaspoon Garlic Salt
4 Cups Flour

Egg wash:
1 Tablespoon Butter (Room temp)
2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
3 teaspoons Dried Onion Flakes
What you will do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Warm milk in microwave on high for about 1 minute. If you dip your finger in and find it uncomfortably hot, let cool until your finger can rest in it comfortably
Whisk in yeast with a fork, let sit for three minutes
Stir in oil, sugar, and salt
In a stand mixer with a dough hook, add flour 1/2 Cup at a time
Mix on high for 3 minutes
Let rise in bowl with wet cloth over dough for 15 minutes
Form dough into large chunks
Flatten out a roll and add pepperoni and cheese. Pinch closed

Mix up the egg wash ingredients. Dip roll into egg mixture, or poor some over top. Sprinkle additional onion flakes and garlic salt on top
Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-20 minutes until golden brown
Serve with pizza sauce

Enjoy!
